After 20 years in the military, and raising 5 kids, we’ve gone to the dogs.
We retired into backwoods of New York State and have made our home with a small kennel of Siberian Huskies
(and one German Wire-Haired Pointer who just thinks she is a Siberian). We have a small photo studio in Cortland
and together we do studio portraits, weddings, fairs, and other events. In the winter, we focus on dog sled racing
– both as photographers and as participants.
Moon Fantasy Siberians are our homebred line of multi-purpose working dogs. They are equally at home on the trail
and in the show ring. More importantly, they are a pleasure to live with. Our Siberian Huskies are not the
fastest dogs on the trail, nor are they consistent champions in the ring; but for those who admire the all-around
qualities of the Siberian Husky, our dogs represent their dreams. Our dogs provide a solid introduction for newcomers
to the breed to explore the possibilities of an active life with Siberian Huskies. With proper training, our dogs
will not disgrace you in whatever realm you might like to explore.
We only breed our dogs when we want pups from a particular breeding. Many times we keep all the offspring, but we do occasionly
have a larger litter and have pups available. We also may have started young adults, or older dogs available for the right home.
We encourage interested people to ask questions. Whether we have something for you or not we are happy to help. We also encourage
people seeking a dog to check their local rescue. We have included links to the SHCA where rescue contacts are listed.
